In order to assess all candidates objectively and fairly, our Admissions Committee will meticulously examine the information you share with us about who you are, what inspires you and how you would contribute uniquely to our student community.

Admission Process

Use your personal email account to create a username and generate a password, which you will use to sign in to our admission proccess page. Once there, fill out the admission application form and click on “Enviar Solicitud”. Scan and attach your birth certificate in the section "Documentos" and send it. If your birth certificate is in a language other than Spanish or English, scan it and attach the translation into Spanish. You will then receive an email asking you to proceed with step 2.
This test evaluates your mathematics and verbal skills. We have preparation workshops offered at the campuses and a guide on the admission proccess page, select the date and campus where you would like to take the PAA preparation workshop and the test itself (print the authorization pass and bring it together with your valid photo ID on the day you take the test).

The result of your PAA will be posted on the admission proccess page once you have received your final admission result.
If you prefer, you can take the College Board SAT, which will be equivalent to the PAA result. You can send your SAT results by selecting code 0843 of Tecnológico de Monterrey when registering to it.
This depends on the date on which you applied for admission (look for the calendar with costs in the "Important Dates" section on this page). You can pay this fee online with a credit card on the admission proccess page, or through a bank deposit using the downloadable deposit slip found on that same page.
Create your résumé, write your essay and complete both documents in the sections indicated on the admission proccess page, which specify the questions you should answer.

Afterwards, submit the following documents to the Departament of admission of the campus to which you are applying:
  • Copy of your junior high school transcript, including your grade average.
  • The last two pages of the application form you filled out on the admission proccess page, which must be signed by you, your legal guardian and the person responsible for payment of tuition.
  • Copy of an official identification of the person responsible for the payment of the tuition.
  • If you are a minor, copy of an ID of your parent/legal guardian*.
  • If you are an adult, a copy of your photo ID*.

* The ID must be official, valid and include photo and signature. Official IDs include: IFE/INE card (Mexican voter’s card), passport, professional license, military service card, immigration form or official ID from your country of origin.

The Admissions Committee might request letters of recommendation (no more than 3), which can be written by faculty, your school director, a businessperson or leader from your community. The Committee might also request complementary evaluations, which will be administered at the campus, and an interview with one of the campus directors.

Additional requirements are requested for admission to Multicultural High School and International High School, given their characteristics. For further information, contact the Departament of admission of the campus of your choice.
It can be: accepted, not accepted, waiting list or pending decision. The latter result indicates that we require additional elements. The Admissions Manager of the campus of your choice will inform you which elements are needed.

The date of notification of your admission result will depend on the date when you have completed your file; consult the section "Important Dates"

The Admission Committee’s decision is unappealable and the selection process is private and confidential. Therefore, Tecnológico de Monterrey does not disclose the reasons for accepting or rejecting a candidate.

For information on the payment methods, please consult the Departament of admission of the campus of your choice. You should also check the events for new students and schedule your English placement exam.
